What is copyright? Well…copyright is a legal means of protecting both published and unpublished works. Many different types of content can be protected by copyright such as books, poems, plays, songs, films, and artwork. Any violation of copyright is called infringement, you may be entitled to compensation from any “damage”.
Difference between Copyright and Creative Commons
Creative Commons is just a license that is applied to someone’s work when their work is already covered by copyright. Thankfully most of the time your work is automatically protected by copyright published or not as long as there is proof when you created the content, although it is not exactly safe. You will never be fully protected until you register your work at https://www.copyright.gov.
